women founders and other underrepresented entrepreneurs
In collaboration with AWS, we delve into gender and diversity within the UK tech sector, spotlighting women founders and other underrepresented entrepreneurs.
Over the past decade, tech companies with female founders secured £8.52b in equity funding, accounting for 8.96% of total equity investment in high-growth technology businesses in the UK. While there is still much progress to be made, 16.3% of high-growth tech companies are led by women founders, signalling a positive trend towards greater representation.
Inside of this report you will find data on companies founded by women entrepreneurs, together with interviews with the female founders of Hertility, Streetbees, Sie Ventures, Dressipi, and Unitary.
