Identify key events in company news

Introducing News Topics, a new and real-time way of identifying key non-transaction events in a company’s timeline.

Using a new ML model, we’re reading and extracting key information from news articles and tagging them with our new Topic labels. Our first three Topics are:

• Key people change
• New product or service
• New property

Topics are also searchable in Advanced Search! You can discover and create Collections for new opportunities for when a company has been mentioned in the news for one of the above.

Advanced Search company criteria: Significant events > News coverage > News topics

Discover key moments in a company’s journey quicker than ever before, for example, identifying the appointment of a key person before it’s officially filed and published on the platform via our traditional data flow under ‘Person added’.
