Why Full Circle chose Beauhurst:
Finding new opportunities in a saturated market
Avoiding duplicate outreach
Meeting strict eligibility criteria
The challenge
Full Circle is contracted by various public sector clients to deliver large-scale business support. In particular, a flagship programme offering tailored mentoring and support across finance, sales, marketing, and digital skills to around 1,500 businesses per year.
Previously, the team relied on Google, Google Maps, Companies House, and manual checks to source this information, which was slow and often incomplete. Sandy explained, “Doing a traditional Google search and looking through maps and profiles means you don’t get the information you need — and doing it through Companies House takes a long, long time.”
Full Circle had already assisted 3000 businesses, and now, in its third year of delivery, required a more precise means of finding eligible companies. And with a smaller pool of businesses to identify, it was becoming increasingly difficult to find the right companies.
Sandy explained, “Some of the programmes we deliver have very specific eligibility criteria. And individual public sector bodies will have different needs when it comes to the types of businesses they want us to engage with on their behalf.”
The solution
Now, as a Beauhurst user, Full Circle has completely reshaped how it identifies and targets businesses for support.
Using the platform’s Advanced Search functionality, Full Circle can run specific, complex searches across every company in the UK to reveal the businesses that fit their eligibility criteria. And that’s not all — the team at Full Circle uploads an ‘exclusion list’ of companies that are not relevant and removes them from the company search.
This is helping Full Circle deliver greater success. For example, the team identified 71 architects in Belfast for a tailored email campaign that achieved a 10% conversion rate — five times higher than their historic average.
Now, Beauhurst is embedded in the team’s weekly workflow. Each coordinator dedicates time specifically to outreach, starting with a targeted list built in Beauhurst, before moving through a structured follow-up process. “Identifying the right companies is now the easy part,” Sandy explains, and now his team has more time to spend on meaningful outreach.
For the team at Full Circle, Beauhurst is more than just a company list-building tool. Understanding and support began from the sales process:
“From the start, Charlie Freedman (Beauhurst Lead Account Executive) spent a lot of time understanding what we needed, why we needed it, how we might best use it, and suggested different solutions. We immediately understood the value of Beauhurst and why it would be good for us.
The results
- A 30% reduction in the time it takes to recruit a new business to a support programme
- Reduced time spent on prospect list building from one day to 10 minutes
- A 10% conversion rate from a targeted campaign compared to a previous typical rate of 1–2%
Beauhurst is already delivering tangible time savings for Full Circle Management Solutions, helping them assist Northern Ireland’s most promising, fast-growing SMEs.
Not only are these new lists of better quality, helping the team achieve better results, but they also take significantly less time to put together. “We’re now doing what we did in a day, in 10 minutes,” Sandy added.
This has provided a strong foundation for outreach, allowing coordinators to prioritise their time on high-value engagement rather than spending it on repetitive administrative tasks.
By removing ineligible companies from their searches, Full Circle can focus only on those most likely to benefit from their support programmes.
The scale of the time savings represents a clear return on investment. With 30% less time spent on identifying eligible businesses and the ability to complete in 10 minutes what once took a day, the team can generate more impact within the same resources.
“For us, that’s a lot of time saved,” Sandy added. Across all these use cases, the result is the same: better data, used more efficiently. And ultimately, this means that Full Circle can act faster, build stronger relationships with businesses, and deliver excellent value for its public sector clients in Northern Ireland.
