With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) soon becoming enforced, we wanted to publish some general information on how Beauhurst is preparing for it and what we’re doing to make sure we’re fully compliant – both for our customers and the wider community.

What are we doing to ensure our platform is compliant with GDPR?
We are taking a range of steps to make sure that our platform – and the data within it – complies with GDPR. From data mapping, auditing how we process and lawful purposes, to setting up systems to protect data from unauthorised or unlawful processing. How will GDPR affect the services we provide?
The Beauhurst platform that our customers access will be materially unaffected by the GDPR. We process personal information – including email addresses – on the basis of legitimate interests, and this is the basis on which we provide that information to our customers. There is no sensitive personal information on the platform.

We care about how our data is used by our customers, and we constantly advise on best practice use of Beauhurst data. See our dedicated document for more information.

How do we use your data for communications and marketing?
Our email subscribers automatically receive product notifications, announcements, our latest reports and research. Any individual can sign up for our email updates via our website, and, as always, they can opt out of any of these at any time, using the email preferences link at the bottom of any Beauhurst email.
